We thank our volunteers, today and every day, for their generous hearts.
We had the honor of recognizing and celebrating our award-winning volunteers at our annual Volunteer Appreciation Brunch & Awards last Tuesday! All of our volunteers served a total of 28,428 hours in 2025. That’s equivalent to almost 14 full-time employees.
This day would not have been possible without Drew Baker and Baker Bros. BBQ graciously providing the venue and food for our event. We would also like to thank our presenting sponsors, Huntington National Bank and Love & Truth Church, our partnering sponsor Hiller Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Electrical, and Hub City Blueprint for donating our awards.
This year, we renamed the Soup Kitchen award after our beloved Tommy Jones, a faithful member of our Kitchen family, who passed away this past February. We continue his legacy in the newly named Tommy Jones Soup Kitchen Award.

Each and every day, volunteers make a significant impact on our community through their work at RIFA. We are so grateful that we have such a strong volunteer presence in our mission. Without their efforts, the work done at RIFA would not be possible. When you donate your time, you become a partner in the fight against hunger in the Jackson community.
