Our Purpose
The Jackson/West Tennessee Continuum of Care (CoC) welcomes all individuals and organizations committed to ending homelessness in our region. We especially encourage participation from those with lived experience of homelessness, and we offer modest resources to help support their involvement.
Join Our CoC
The Jackson/West Tennessee CoC is dedicated to streamlining and strengthening the current delivery system through greater collaborative planning, partnership, and program execution.
The CoC is made up of government entities, elected officials, non-profit organizations, financial institutions, businesses, churches, healthcare providers, homeless and formerly homeless, and others.
What Our Members Do
CoC members work collaboratively to:
- Develop local and regional solutions to end homelessness
- Coordinate housing and services funding for homeless families and individuals
- Review and evaluate the effectiveness of the CoC and its funded programs
- Make strategic decisions about funding applications to HUD and other sources
- Engage the community on issues of homelessness and affordable housing
