The Jackson/West Tennessee Continuum of Care is a coalition of agencies, churches, businesses, and neighbors working together to get folks off the street and into stable housing. We can’t do it alone — and that’s where you come in.

Ways to Serve

Point-in-Time Count (January) — Our biggest all-hands need of the year. Volunteers walk neighborhoods and camps alongside experienced team leads to survey folks experiencing homelessness. This one night shapes federal funding for our whole region.

Committee Service — Lend your skills to Coordinated Entry, Data & HMIS, Housing, or Grant Review. Great fit if you’ve got a background in social work, finance, IT, or nonprofit administration.

Outreach & Care Kits — Assemble and hand out hygiene kits, socks, water, and cold-weather supplies. Perfect for church groups, civic clubs, and families.

Administrative Support — Help with mailings, meeting setup, data entry, and event logistics. Quiet work that keeps the lights on.

Drives & Awareness — Host a clothing, blanket, or supply drive at your workplace, school, or congregation.

Who We’re Looking For

Anybody with a heart for their neighbors and a willingness to show up. Volunteers must be 18 or older (16+ with a guardian for group projects), treat every person with dignity, and keep client information confidential.

Time Commitment

Flexible. Some folks give a single morning a year; others serve on a committee that meets quarterly. Tell us what you’ve got and we’ll find a good fit.
